Kate Bedford Therapy
I am a warm and professional fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor. Having experienced deeply rewarding therapy myself, I understand its empowering and life-changing potential. I provide a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment, where confusion moves towards clarity, and distress paves the way for growth and healing.
After 12 years experience in mental health, including work with stroke survivors, people living with dementia, and people with disabilities, becoming a counsellor was a natural progression for me. It gave me a real understanding of how such issues can affect our lives. I have particular experience working with people who have severe and enduring mental health problems, including depression, anxiety and schizophrenia.
During this time, I also provided creative workshops in group settings, exploring feelings and enhancing well-being.
