About me
Having experienced deeply rewarding therapy myself, I understand its empowering and life-changing potential. I am a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, providing a safe and nurturing space, where confusion can move towards clarity, and distress gives way to healing and growth. My interest lies in building safety with you, helping you feel secure and grounded as you learn more about yourself.
After 12 years experience in mental health and wellbeing, including work with stroke survivors, adults with disabilities and people living with dementia, becoming a counsellor was a natural progression for me. Much of my work has involved supporting people through anxiety and depression; this has given me a real understanding of how such issues can affect our lives. Throughout this time, I also provided creative workshops in group settings, exploring feelings and enhancing well-being.
